RAYTOOLS Tool for lens change on BM109 head ORIGINAL PART — The lens forms the focal spot at which cutting or welding takes place, so its condition directly affects power density and therefore process quality and speed. Application area: laser optics.
The lens is mounted in the optics holder of the laser head. Handle optics only with clean gloves, by the edge and without touching the optical surfaces, and clean them with products intended for laser optics. A scratched, contaminated or thermally loaded lens shifts the focal position and degrades process quality and should be replaced.
