Protective glass 38.1 x 1.6 - 1064nm 8KW — A protective window shields the focusing optics from fume, dust and molten spatter. It is an easily replaceable consumable that significantly extends the service life of more expensive optical elements. Application area: laser optics.
The window is inserted into the cover-glass cassette of the laser head. Handle it with clean gloves and only by the edge. A contaminated or burned window absorbs part of the beam power, heats up and can damage the optics behind it, so inspect it at the start of every shift and replace it at the first signs of contamination.
Determine compatibility using reference numbers 3015534. Compare them with the designation of the part installed in your machine and with the equipment documentation; contact us if anything is unclear and we will verify the version.
