RAYTOOLS M8 3D SINGLE NOZZLE D. 1,2mm ORIGINAL PART — This nozzle is a consumable component of the laser cutting head. Orifice geometry and diameter define the gas flow pattern and the stability of the cutting process. Application area: laser cutting.
The nozzle is installed in the laser cutting head. Orifice diameter is selected according to material type, sheet thickness and assist gas — smaller orifices for thin sheet, larger ones for heavier material and high-pressure nitrogen cutting. Inspect the orifice whenever head consumables are changed and replace any damaged or contaminated nozzle, because an asymmetric gas stream degrades cut quality and increases the risk of collision.
