RAYTOOLS M14 CONICAL SINGLE NOZZLE D. 5,0mm ORIGINAL PART — A precisely machined cutting nozzle is a prerequisite for repeatable cut quality, since the orifice geometry shapes the gas cone and the thermal conditions in the kerf. Application area: laser cutting.
The nozzle is installed in the laser cutting head. Orifice diameter is selected according to material type, sheet thickness and assist gas — smaller orifices for thin sheet, larger ones for heavier material and high-pressure nitrogen cutting. Inspect the orifice whenever head consumables are changed and replace any damaged or contaminated nozzle, because an asymmetric gas stream degrades cut quality and increases the risk of collision.
