HK-NUK-NOZZLE N Ø 1.5 — The nozzle provides a concentrated assist-gas stream and at the same time shields the head optics from molten spatter. Application area: laser cutting.

Application

The nozzle is installed in the laser cutting head. Orifice diameter is selected according to material type, sheet thickness and assist gas — smaller orifices for thin sheet, larger ones for heavier material and high-pressure nitrogen cutting. Inspect the orifice whenever head consumables are changed and replace any damaged or contaminated nozzle, because an asymmetric gas stream degrades cut quality and increases the risk of collision.
